Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under mandatory Danish or EU consumer protection law. Where a term conflicts with such law, the law prevails and the rest of these terms remain in effect.

It is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or psychological professional services.

Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Selaro.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free plan limits is not permitted.
- You may not use Selaro to harm others, spread misinformation, or violate any laws.
- Do not use Selaro for illegal purposes, attempt to circumvent usage limits or paywalls, or use automated scripts or bots to abuse the service.
Subscriptions and billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe, as selected.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- Credits are allocated at the start of each billing period and expire at the end of that period. Unused credits do not roll over.
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy — a 14-day satisfaction guarantee on your first payment.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
Your content
- You own your conversations and data.
- You give us permission to store and process your content to provide the service.
- We do not use your content to train AI models.
No warranties
Selaro is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under mandatory Danish or EU consumer protection law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, business, goodwill, data, or opportunities. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before any claim.
Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Danish or EU law (such as liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct), or any mandatory consumer rights you have.
Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages, cyberattacks, cloud provider failures, natural disasters, labour disputes, or governmental actions.
Changes to the service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or remove features of the service at any time. Where a material change significantly reduces a paid feature you rely on, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Selaro from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Acceptable use and termination
You agree not to misuse Selaro, including: attempting to circumvent usage limits, security, or payment systems; using automated tools to abuse the service; using Selaro for illegal purposes; or any activity that harms the service or other users.
You may not use Selaro to generate harmful, unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or fraudulent content, or to attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or misuse the underlying AI systems.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without refund, at our discretion. In cases of serious abuse (fraud, security attacks, illegal use), we may terminate immediately and without notice.
- On termination, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes will be resolved in Danish courts, unless EU consumer protection law requires otherwise.
